The first sentence of the Supreme Court’s opinion allowing continued construction of Trump’s ballroom is disingenuous to the core. In a 5-4 decision, the majority wrote: “In October 2025, the federal government started a project to replace the East Wing of the White House.” They then write, “…the government completed [demolition of the existing East Wing] in December 2025.”
